Section 01 · The Process
Three steps. We do 99% of the work.
You bring the service story. We turn it into a case file the VA can act on.
Tell us your service story
A 12-minute intake captures your conditions, service dates, and current rating. No DD-214 archaeology required up front — we tell you exactly which records to pull.
We build the evidence file
Our claims team and AI drafting engine assemble a file-ready package: condition statements, nexus support cited to VA case law and medical literature, and a C&P exam prep brief.
You file, you keep the backpay
You submit the finished package through VA.gov in a few clicks. Flat fee, paid once. We never touch a dollar of any retroactive award.
Section 02 · Why It Works
Evidence the VA can't ignore.
Most claims are denied for one reason: the file never proved the link between service and disability. We build the proof.
Evidence, not opinions
Every condition statement is backed by a documented nexus — the link between your service and your disability — cited to precedent and peer-reviewed medicine.
One flat fee. Period.
You pay a single fixed price for the package. No percentages, no contingency, no claim on your retroactive pay. The VA charges nothing to file.
File-ready in 14 days
Most packages are drafted, reviewed by a claims specialist, and back in your hands inside two weeks.
Built and run by veterans
The people writing your file have stood in the same boots. We know the difference a rating makes because we have lived it.

Real veterans. Real ratings.
Sample outcomes from veterans who stopped leaving evidence on the table.
“I had been denied twice on my own. They found a sleep apnea claim secondary to my PTSD I never knew I could file. Six weeks later the letter came.”
Marcus Delgado
U.S. Army · 11B
“The nexus letter they helped assemble actually cited the studies. My old paperwork was a paragraph. This was a case file.”
Renee Okafor

“First time filing. I would have left tinnitus and my knees off entirely. The intake caught both. Flat fee, kept every cent of backpay.”

Section 06 · Questions
Straight answers.
The things veterans ask us most before getting started.
Do you take a percentage of my backpay?
No. Freedom Fighters charges a single flat fee for preparing your package. We never take a percentage of your monthly compensation or any retroactive award. The VA itself charges nothing to file a claim.
Are you a law firm or an accredited agent?
No. We prepare evidence and claim packages; we do not represent you before the VA or charge fees regulated under 38 CFR for accredited representatives. You remain the filer of record and submit the finished package yourself through VA.gov.
What documents do I need to get started?
To begin, all you need is a rough timeline of your service and the conditions you want to claim. During the build we will tell you exactly which records to request — typically your DD-214, service treatment records, and any current medical documentation.
How long does the whole process take?
Most packages are file-ready within 14 days. After you file, VA decision times vary; the current average for the veterans we work with is around 78 days, though complex or appealed claims can take longer.
Can you help if I have already been denied?
Yes. Denials and low ratings are a large part of what we do. We review the decision letter, identify what the evidence was missing, and build a supplemental claim or higher-level review around it.
What is a nexus and why does it matter?
A nexus is the documented link between your military service and your current disability. It is the single most common reason claims are denied. Our packages are built around establishing that link with citations to VA case law and medical literature.
No pressure. Just answers.
